I spent 3 years on one site that went down 2 years ago (Phoenix Revolution, later known as the Global Web Defense Association Forums.) I also spent a year doing extensive roleplaying on another site. Which sadly, I can't visit now because the link was on my old computer. I then did several sessions of IM roleplaying between myself and five friends. That lasted only around six sessions, but was very productive!
